45 Residential Building

Architecture & BIM modeling
Project Overview
This project began with a cubic mass, which we carved into to enhance natural lighting and create a functional solution for the car ramp. By strategically removing sections, we improved spatial quality while addressing practical design constraints. Some parts of the volume were then divided, and four parallel plates were introduced to further segment the mass, defining spatial organization and adding depth to the facade. A small part of the balcony and a thin window, both framed with vertical louvers, were incorporated to control light and maintain privacy while offering selective views. These elements contribute to the balance between openness and enclosure, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
Limitations in the 45 Residential Building Design
Navigating Iranian building codes while maximizing usable space was a key challenge. Through thoughtful design development, we balanced regulatory constraints with architectural innovation, resulting in a well-lit, efficient, and visually dynamic living environment.
